Choosing Medical Care in Old Age

Muriel R. Gillick

This is a very good book if you find yourself navigating health care choices for your mom or dad. Through case studies and examples, Muriel Gillick considers the common treatments that arise among the different stages of the elderly, and walks you through some of the considerations. While some advocate making medical care decisions strictly on age, Gillick tells us to consider the individual patient.
